I have a few core theses about the world that shape my philosophy as an early-stage investor. They help guide why I invest along with what and who I invest in.
Why: I believe technology and capital are powerful tools for social progress. The remarkable rise in human living standards over the past 200 years is directly attributable to these forces.
What: The last two decades of innovation have been driven largely by the paradigmatic shift in computing infrastructure to the cloud. I believe the next two decades of innovation will be driven by a shift towards data-driven software.
Who: I believe talent is universal, opportunity is not. I aim to work with the “outsiders” and I am constantly inspired by the incredible things daring founders can accomplish when all odds are against them.
